Griffin & Sabine Trilogy (Nick Bantock)

This gorgeous fictional correspondence was creatively formative for me. Griffin and Sabine are both artists; Sabine even designs the stamps for the remote island community she lives in. One day they start to see one another’s artwork taking shape in their mind’s eyes; eventually one IDs the other and they begin writing letters to each other. From there, the mystery deepens. The artwork and epistolary format are so unique and compelling.
