Churu Lickable Cat Treats for Urinary Tract Care from Japan

I’ve never met a cat who didn’t go apeshit for Churus — which is why it’s a huge bummer when urinary issues that require a strict diet prohibit them (especially since they are also a good source of hydration, which helps with urinary problems!).

Turns out, Inaba (the Churu company) makes Churus formulated specifically for urinary care, formulated with controlled magnesium and calcium levels and added potassium citrate to help prevent the formation of struvite crystals. They’re not distributed in the US because of a complex and expensive regulatory approval process, but you can buy them through a number of Japanese distributors like this one. My furhead is so happy he still gets to have his Churus. <3
